“Burnout is what happens when you try to avoid being human for too long.”
– Michael Gungor
Be your trusted partner to your prevention or recovery from burnout.
Are you experiencing……
- Sunday night blues before work?
- Feeling irritable or short tempered more often?
- Feeling frustrated and unfulfilled?
- Feel like you’re running on autopilot?
- Feeling overwhelmed, numb or disconnected?
- Feel like you’re just holding it together and about to snap
- Headaches, muscle tension or digestive problems?
- Trouble with sleep patterns or snoozing your alarm too much?
- No longer find joy in the things you usually love doing?
If you answer yes to the majority of these questions you’re most like experiencing or near to experiencing burnout. You are not alone! The World Health Organization listed burnout on the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11) in May 2019 citing concerns of a ‘stress epidemic’ among employed adults globally.
The difference between stress and burnout
Burnout may be the result of unrelenting stress, but it isn’t the same as too much stress.
Stress involves too many pressures that demand too much of you physically and mentally. However, stressed people can still imagine that if they can just get everything under control, they’ll feel better.
Burnout is about not enough. It’s feeling empty and mentally exhausted, devoid of motivation and beyond caring. People experiencing burnout often don’t see any hope of positive change in their situations.
For high achieving, career orientated professionals burnout can tip even the A type personalities to either react outwardly in an emotional or behavioural explosion or inwardly and become withdrawn, disconnected or detached from family, friends and colleagues. Either way both dysfunctions are compatible with the burnout process and being in the state of complete emotional, physical and mental exhaustion caused by excessive and prolonged stress. No-one is immune to burnout, not even leaders.
What we do?
A 1-2-1 private coaching program outside of the work environment. We start with our wellbeing and behavioural assessments which use rigorous, evidence based research to deliver deep insights into what’s impacting your wellbeing both at home and work and how you’re naturally wired to deal with your unique life challenges. Next we embark on a 3 month coaching program using the latest neuroscience techniques, for example, past emotional clearing and anxiety pattern interrupt tools.
The program results in:
- Identification of roadblocks and breaking down barriers to develop a fuller, happier and infinitely more satisfying life.
- Personal transformation to a wider range of positive feelings and behaviours.
- Mental toolkit to communicate and respond better to challenging situations as they arise.
On conclusion, you will be given one year’s access to our online POWR and Move wellbeing and lifestyle applications to support your continued resilience.

Ready to GO Next Level?
“Using the GLWS framework, Gail was able to really quickly get a detailed understanding of what was happening across both work and home life. As well as highlighting aspects which were going well, she was able to get to problem areas really quickly and focus on the areas that would have the biggest impact. The work we did was a great reminder of some of the areas that I had lost focus on or pushed to the bottom of the priority list and how important these areas are. We were able to come up with some clear and simple strategies to start working on improving these straight away and strategies to make sure these are maintained going forward. I would highly recommend this process to anyone looking to get more clarity on and improving their wellbeing”
Paula Tucker, CEO, Spark CFO
“Gail was engaging, passionate and committed to help achieve my goals and instrumental in helping me identify a major block. Gail made me feel safe, comfortable and understood. She showed empathy, compassion and was good at reflecting back. I felt like I had an ally on my journey and that she understood where I was at and where I had been there too. It was the breakthrough I had been looking for for many years. Gail was able to adjust each week to where I was at. She has a range of tools to share and gave support when it was needed. I feel she really helped me move forward to address a barrier I had been struggling with”
Emma O’Neil, Melbourne
“The whole experience was amazing. I’ve never had a coach before and didn’t realise how much I needed one until I had the sessions. It’s completely changed my life. I had just come out of a toxic relationship and was experiencing anxiety and post traumatic stress. Gail helped me overcome the initial trauma and to manage my anxiety. Gail also helped me look at other aspects of my life to help me find some balance and improve all areas of my life”
